Our Team

Corey Cerullo, Director

Corey has performed actively as a chorister, soloist (bass/baritone), and composer/arranger in the Adirondack region of New York. He is a member of the Hudson River Chorale, a non-profit choir based out of Hudson Falls, NY, as a Bass Section leader and soloist of Adirondack Voices (before being named artistic director), and as a current Bass Section leader and soloist of Adirondack A Cappella. As a freelance musician, Corey has enjoyed success as a vocal soloist, trombonist, guitarist and even a hornist for a local production of “Beauty and the Beast”.

Additionally, Corey is an avid educator. He currently works at Granville Central School, where he is responsible for 7-12th grade choral activities. Corey also enjoys success as an arranger and composer of various musical mediums, however he specializes in choral and vocal works. His music can be found at J.W. Pepper, sheet music plus, and sheet music direct under the publishing company Cerullo Music LLC.

When not involved in the region’s musical scene, Corey enjoys playing and learning tabletop board games. Whether it’s Monopoly, Settlers of Catan, or Terraforming Mars, he enjoys the camaraderie that a board game can foster with real interactions between players. He hopes that spirit of brotherhood around a table can be applied to other situations in life and tries to emulate it wherever he goes.

Corey has earned his bachelor's and master's degrees from the State University of New York at Fredonia in Music education with a concentration in voice (bass/baritone) and vocal jazz.

“Every day, music makes a difference in someone’s life. I look forward to continuing to have those  that I make music with, making a difference in my life. It's not just notes on a page. It's each member  combining their voices together to create those musical moments within an ensemble. Hearing, feeling, interpreting each piece in its own unique way.”
